Taking part in a Still Life Stories conversation

Still Life Stories is a photography and storytelling project exploring the memories, meaning and personal stories connected to the objects we keep.

As part of the project, we sometimes invite people to take part in short, informal filmed conversations. You are completely free to decide what you would like to share, and you do not have to answer any question that makes you uncomfortable.

By ticking below, you confirm that:

• You are aged 18 or over.

• You are happy to take part in a recorded Still Life Stories conversation.

• You understand that the conversation may be recorded using video, photography and/or audio.

• You understand that you can stop the conversation or choose not to answer a question at any point.

Permission to use the recording

With your permission, photographs, video clips, audio recordings and words from your conversation may be edited and used to help share and promote the Still Life Stories project.

This may include use on:

• the Still Life Stories and Shoots & Stories websites

• Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social media platforms

• promotional films, reels and short-form video

• exhibitions, presentations and community events

• printed or digital promotional materials

• press, publicity or funding/partnership materials relating to the project
  

Your contribution may be edited for length and clarity but we will always aim to represent the meaning of what you have said fairly and respectfully.

Changing your mind

If you change your mind after taking part, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@shootsandstories.com.

Where reasonably possible, we can stop using material that has not yet been published. Once content has been published, shared, printed, distributed or reposted by others, it may not always be possible to remove every copy.
