The Studio

Need your new line of products shot in a matter of days?

No problem!

This year I was lucky enough to be able to build a multifunctional studio space on our property, capable of accommodating a wide range of personal & commercial shoots.

Since the studio has been designed from scratch, it's free of the various limitations of my previous studio ventures, giving much more scope as to what can be achieved in the space.

The immediate proximity of the studio means I can now offer flexible photography services with rapid turnarounds at highly competitive rates.

Working in collaboration with fellow freelancers allows me to shoot large volumes of images for all kinds of products.

It's been a long time in the making but we're finally here, ready to create and super excited to capture stunning images that will help your business thrive!

Why Portraits & Products?

I like to find the magic in the everyday. Whether the aim is to sell clothing or create personal memories, it's a real thrill to capture people being themselves in an environment that sparks imagination and means something special to them.

I love to document meaningful moments against the backdrop of nature. To curate eccentric, multi-sensory experiences that elicit authentic candid expressions.

On the product side of things I'm all about the fine details. I find great satisfaction in ensuring there's not a crease, reflection or garnish out of place. I enjoy the meticulous process, the commitment to capturing each item in its best light whether there's a simple packshot or luxury campaign on set.

About Me

I'm Jen, a freelance photographer based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I offer a range of services, studio based or on location, which are outlined on my gallery & booking pages.

I've been a photographer for over fifteen years and in that time my role has morphed into many forms. Starting out in sports & music event coverage, portraiture & weddings before gradually moving into the commercial forums of fashion, product photography, PR & marketing for popular high street brands. Each shoot a valuable lesson along the way in the ever evolving techniques of light manipulation and capture.

Following the arrival of my daughter at the beginning of 2023, I decided to relocate my workspace closer to home.
I had to construct a whole new work-life balance to minimise time spent away from her without compromising my availability.

It couldn't have worked out better, my new setup gives me the ability to switch from one kind of content creation to another with ease. Now I can shoot more products and deliver more images for my clients than ever before.
